10th International Scientific Conference
„World Economy – Challenges of the 21st Century”
Baranów Sandomierski, 1st – 2nd of December, 2022
Dear Colleagues,
The year 2022 will undoubtedly write itself down in the pages of global economic history. The ongoing armed conflict in Ukraine has presented the world economy with many new challenges. Not only economic, but also political and social ones. The energy and food crisis, imbalances in financial markets, high inflation and the inflow of refugees are just some of them. Are the economies of individual countries ready to meet these challenges? Do international institutions and organizations take measures to reduce the negative effects of the current situation? Can Europe speak with one voice? Is the interest of the individual more important than the interest of the society as a whole?
We will try to find answers to these and many other questions during the 10th International Scientific Conference
„World economy – challenges of the 21st century”,
which we are honored to invite you to.
The topics of this year’s conference will include the following issues:
- World economy – globalization – international trade
- Economic growth – markets – economic policy
- The financial sector in the global economy
- Enterprises on international markets in the conditions of globalization and knowledge-based economy
We would like to dedicate the 10th jubilee edition of the conference to an outstanding figure in the world of science, the Rector of the UTH Radom, prof. Sławomir I. Bukowski, who is currently celebrating the 40th anniversary of his scientific work. Participation in the event will be an opportunity to express recognition for his scientific, didactic and organizational achievements.
